We are looking for an experienced, organised and passionate person who loves customer service and knows how to make a great coffee and a cool juice or smoothie!
We are well known with our regular customers for our made to order sandwiches. Our main service is take-away and have outdoor seating available with a Coolie vibe.
Location: Good Garden Cafe
Employment Type: Casual
Expected hours approximately 25 - 38 Hours a week Shifts range between 5am to 2:30pm
Requirements: To be considered for this role you will need to meet the below criteria
- Fluent in English
- Friendly, motivated person with a can do attitude and the ability to talk to customers and make them feel welcome
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Be able to hit the ground running
- Atleast 2 - 3 years experience in the hospitality industry with barista skills, and management experience
- Excellent social skills and a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Skills needed:
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace
- Be able to learn different tasks and run different stations
- Be a fast learner
- Prepare produce for and make juices, smoothies and sandwiches
- Make coffees
- Basic cooking skills
As Manager you will need to:
- Inspire and lead a small team of juice makers, sandwich artists and coffee makers to deliver exceptional service and delicious food.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including inventory management, curating lists for supplies for each day
- Monitoring staff to ensure all policies and procedures are followed and tasks are completed on time by yourself and the team while improving efficiencies
- Complete store open and pack down, ensuring prep is done for the next day
