Experienced and energetic Café Manager wanted for our bright, busy airport café Bound.
Located in the heart of Brisbane’s Domestic airport terminal, you will lead our team as they provide unparalleled service to people from all walks of life across our Cafe with integrated retail featuring books & gifting. You will ensure our team consistently delivers above and beyond while serving premium coffee and bakery products, a selection of made to order platters and pizzas, wines by the glass, premium local spirits and craft beers.
We are looking for a leader who will:
- Motivate and lead from the front with hands-on approach
- Ensure tasks performed according to standards and procedures
- Ensure site is well maintained at all times
- Provide a high standard of customer service and be a true brand ambassador
- Oversee daily store operations including ordering, rostering, staff management
- Be proficient in Microsoft applications including Excel, Word, Outlook & Teams
- Demonstrate knowledge of regulations relating to food safety with confidence in training teams in food safety standards
- Champion maturity, initiative, and a sense of urgency
- Be responsible for stock control and waste management
- Bring your higher self to work and show respect for others through your words and actions
- Be flexible to work a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday which may include early morning, late nights
As we're located in a dynamic airport environment, we operate outside typical business hours. We are looking for someone who is reasonably flexible with availability as trading hours will fall outside normal business hours
