We are seeking a skilled and passionate Barista and Cafe Manager to join our team at Cucina Cafe. If you are enthusiastic about delivering exceptional customer service, creating delicious beverages, and managing a vibrant cafe environment, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Barista Duties:

• Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to company recipes.
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, taking and fulfilling orders, and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the coffee preparation area and customer seating areas.
• Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines in the handling and preparation of food and beverages.
• Stay informed about coffee industry trends, new products, and brewing techniques.

Cafe Manager Duties:

• Oversee day-to-day cafe operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
• Train and mentor cafe staff, ensuring they provide exceptional service and follow company standards.
• Manage and optimize inventory levels, placing orders for supplies as needed while controlling costs.
• Monitor and maintain equipment to ensure proper functionality; coordinate repairs or replacements as necessary.
• Create and implement marketing strategies to promote the cafe and attract new customers.
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, vendors, and local businesses.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly, striving to improve the overall customer experience.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Barista and in cafe management.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods and techniques.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Basic understanding of financial aspects such as budgeting and cost control.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications or training is a plus.
• Previous experience in a similar role in the food and beverage industry.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
