Cafe Area Manager

We're looking for a dedicated Cafe Area Manager to lead our teams and elevate our customer experience across our three cafe venues throughout the Northern Beaches and North Shore.
About Us:
We have three unique venues ranging from a fast paced take away shop, a casual family friendly cafe to a more upscale restaurant experience. All venues have room for expansion and we need a dedicated leader to join us in taking these businesses to the next level to reach their full potential.
Our product quality and speed of exceptional service are our non - negotiable values across all three of our brands.
Responsibilities:
- Working with teams across all three venues for 4 days of the week with 1 day dedicated to admin/ management tasks
- Managing day-to-day operations including team leadership, rostering, and KPI tracking etc
- Training and mentoring staff to ensure optimum customer service and product quality are always maintained
- Delivering feedback and having 1:1 conversations with team members about their performance when required
- Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and business profitability
- Ensuring cleanliness throughout the venues has been maintained and that safety standards are adhered too in line with council requirements
- Handling customer inquiries or complaints/feedback with professionalism, patience and care.
Requirements:
- Previous managerial experience and business understanding
- Strong leadership and willingness to go the extra mile to get the job done
- Ability to effectively manage a team and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with rostering and KPI tracking
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Flexibility to work weekends
- Drivers licence and personal vehicle required
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
- Energetic and positive, “can do” attitude.
