Local Press Café is situated on the lake, corner of Eastlake Parade and Giles St, in the Kingston Foreshore. At Local Press we are passionate about healthy food. We offer delicious wholefoods (meat to vegan) that are unrefined, unprocessed and free of unnecessary additives and preservatives. As a café manager, you require to develop your team for achieving the result and striving for success, whilst maintaining a strong focus on profitability and consistently high standards of Food & Beverage service. With your exceptional leadership skills, you will foster a positive work environment and uphold Local Press Cafe's quality standards, operating systems, procedures, values, mission, and culture.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience managing full-service cafe. You will lead front- and back-of-house teams, ensuring that operational standards and procedures are consistently met and exceeded. Upholding health and safety regulations will be a top priority for you, while also recruiting, training, and developing staff members. Demonstrating the ability to achieve positive financial results is crucial, as is your talent for inspiring others to consistently deliver outstanding results. The successful candidate will also have a valid RSA.
