DUTIES:
• Ensuring dining facilities comply with health regulations and are clean, functional and of suitable appearance.
• Effective communication with waitresses’ staff, owner of establishment and kitchen staff.
• Ensuring that all health codes are being followed and that workplace safety is also a high priority.
• Hold staff meetings to keep everyone up to date with regulations and in house matters.
• Ensuring all food and ingredient stock is kept track of & order more stock when the supply is running low.
• Working with the cooks to develop the menu and come up with new dishes to serve.
• Implementing marketing strategies to drive up business.
• Planning events and functions at the establishment, listening to customers requests and ensuring a high quality of event is delivered.
• Conferring with customers to assess their satisfaction with meals and service
• selecting, training and supervising waiting and kitchen staff
