Form of workWe have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Café Supervisor to support our Award winning Café in Ashby. As Café Supervisor you will be responsible for assisting the Café Manager in day to day operations, opening and closing procedures and staff training. To be successful in this role you should also have work experience in coffee shops and have a passion for making fabulous coffee. The rostered hours include weekends and public holidays. Ultimately, you will help increase profitability, boost customer engagement, and help to nurture our little cafés local reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in Managing the day-to-day operations of the café
- Assist in training new wait staff and baristas
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers in the absence of the Manager
- Advise staff on the best ways to resolve issues with clients and deliver excellent customer service
- Nurture friendly relationships with customers to increase loyalty and boost our reputation
- Knowledge of and ability to comply with occupational health and safety standards and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role
- Hands on experience with professional coffee machines
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage and motivate
- A passion for coffee and hospitality
- Food Safety Hygiene Certificate
