About the Role
As a Café Team Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our café, and ensuring that our customers receive the highest level of service. Responsibilities include:
- Training team members in store processes and procedures.
- Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with Food by WHSmith hygiene Standards.
- Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Store Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations.
- Assist in the preparation of both food and beverages/coffees.
- Undertake adhoc banking duties.
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following:
- 2+ years of supervisory experience
- Bubbly and enthusiastic personality
- Strong knowledge of general café operations
- Barista experience
- Ability to lead and run a shift
- Understanding of till reconciliation and cash handling
- Exceptional time management skills and reliability
- Sunday (Morning), Monday (Afternoon) & Friday (Morning or Afternoon) availability
