Reporting to the Store Manager and Area Manager, you'll manage the day-to-day operations of a cafe at Virgin Active Norwest.
In a nutshell:
- You'll plan and prepare work schedules, assigning crew members to specific duties
- You'll ensure store staff are trained and component, following correct processes and procedures
- You'll coach, lead and motivate crew members who are on site
- You'll conduct store audits, addressing and gaps and concerns
- You'll maintain appropriate stock levels through ordering, receiving and rotation processes
- You'll ensure all product checklists, and the management check book are completed on a daily basis
- You'll execute sales promotion activities and direct crew members for merchandise displays
- You'll manage controllable costs against set budgets for the store, ensuring that the budget is adhered to
- You'll assist in recruiting and interviewing all general crew and cashiers in line with Kauai recruitment processes
- You have aligned experience in a cafe environment and understand the importance of food safety rules
- You're comfortable working with a 7-day rotating roster
- You love to create refreshing experiences for people as much as you love to guarantee a super safe and presentable environment for all
