Full Job Description:

As the Cafe/Restaurant Manager at Adrift Cafe, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our establishment. You will be the heart of our cafe, ensuring that every guest's experience is delightful and every plate perfectly presented.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, recruit, and train a dedicated team of front-of-house and kitchen staff.
• Serve as the primary liaison between the cafe owners and all team members.
• Efficiently manage staff schedules to ensure seamless service.
• Collaborate with our talented chefs to design enticing menus.
• Foster a synergistic relationship between kitchen and service areas to enhance customer satisfaction.
• Oversee purchasing, manage budgets, and maintain meticulous records of inventory and finances.
• Coordinate special events and oversee promotional meal initiatives.
• Ensure all dining and kitchen areas comply with health standards and present a clean, appealing environment.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and manage service quality.
• Handle reservations and front-of-house duties with grace and professionalism.

Duties Include:

• Smooth operation of the cafe’s opening and closing routines.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the venue.
• Provide exceptional service to all guests, managing all aspects of their dining experience.
• Oversee and participate in social media promotion and other marketing efforts.
• Manage financial transactions and ensure accuracy in all cash-handling processes.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Must have secured accommodation in Exmouth as company accommodation is not provided.

Job Details:

• Type: Full-time
• Salary: $70,044 per year
• Schedule: split shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
