About the role

As a Campaign Initiative Associate, you will be responsible for campaign development from brief through to launch including creative/media agency engagement and ongoing campaign performance reporting and optimisation.

Key accountabilities:

  • Support broader Brand & Advertising planning and coordination
  • Help develop and manage advertising campaign strategy, creative development, media planning and implementation.
  • Manage campaign asset production across paid media channels and ANZ-owned channels to support campaign delivery.
  • Project manage the delivery of end-to-end campaigns and initiatives on time and on budget.
  • Ensure all marketing activity delivers commercial targets, including ongoing campaign performance tracking, reporting and optimisation.
  • Ensure key sales channels and frontline staff are informed and engaged to support the delivery of campaigns and initiatives by enabling desired customer experiences.
  • Help manage the marketing budget, including raising estimates/purchase requisitions, paying invoices and reconciling the budget tracker against monthly spend reports from Finance .

Role Type: 12-month Fixed Term contract, Full Time

What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in the role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Marketing Strategy: Analysing key learnings, findings and implications ('so what' and 'now what') to inform future strategies.
  • Go to Market planning: Contributing towards decisions and actions developed by each team / function on how they will contribute to the overall delivery of the Marketing Strategy and Portfolio Strategy and the overall customer and commercial targets.
  • Creative Development: Experience working with agencies to develop effective advertising creative based on customer insights that deliver measurable customer and commercial outcomes. Includes writing communications briefs, providing constructive creative feedback, asset production and performance-based optimisation.
  • Media Planning: Experience working with agencies to develop media strategies and plans with an emphasis on efficiency, effectiveness and innovation that deliver customer and commercial outcomes.
  • Agency Management: Partnering with external agencies to deliver effective marketing solutions, customer experiences and shared business outcomes. Includes efficiently managing creative and media budgets and challenging agencies to innovate and experiment by looking at best practice outside ANZ to improve solutions for ANZ customers.
  • Project Management: Ability to manage several tasks simultaneously and independently to ensure campaigns and initiatives are delivered to the highest quality standards, on time and on budget.
  • Stakeholder Management: Building strong relationships with a range of stakeholders to enable the delivery of successful campaigns and initiatives.
