An exciting opportunity has opened at North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) for an experienced career orientated professional Campus Facilities Manager who is self-motivated, uses initiative and works efficiently to join our friendly and efficient Facilities Management Team.
This vacancy is for Fixed Term Full-Time appointment for up to 12 months with the possibility of extension(s).

North Metropolitan Health Service covers almost 1000 square kilometres, with a population of almost 740,000, representing about 28 per cent of Western Australia’s total, and is projected to grow to more than 0.9 million by 2031. Your role plays a key role in our organisation supporting the Area Manager Facilities Operations, your colleagues across all NMHS sites, and the wider community Campus Facilities Manager as with duties including but not limited to:
- planning and controlling a comprehensive Facilities Management (FM) service to the Graylands Health Campus Facility (GH) and associated offsites.
- managing the human, physical and financial resources with respect to Engineering and Building Services, Gardens and Grounds and associated tasks consistent with short- and long-term objectives of the North Metropolitan Health Service (NMHS) FM Department.
- developing and implementing strategies and guidelines, monitors and reviews policies and performance, to ensure effective management of preventative and ongoing maintenance and operations.
- A friendly and professional attitude with a high level of Supervisory skill in a facilities management related environment.
- Confident in conversing with a wide range of stakeholders (internal and external).
- Experience in providing support in a busy, variable environment.
- Excellent ability to prioritise the workload, use effective time management and highly developed organisational skills.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for a fixed term appointment you must have documentary evidence of your entitlement to live and work in Australia for the period of the contract.
Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
