Hours: Approx 7.30am – 2.00pm (may change slightly) Monday to Friday (School Terms Only)
Salary: $31.15 per hour (casual rate) + super
Commencement: ASAP
Role Responsibility
The Canteen Assistant is directly responsible to the Canteen Manager with assisting with the provision of services in the college canteen to students, staff and visitors.
Criteria
Under the direction of the canteen manager, provide high quality and nutritious meal options.
- Work within the service delivery team to assist with serving of customers.
- Preparation of meals in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining the highest level of hygiene at all times
- Work environment is maintained at the highest level of cleanliness including equipment, shelves and fridges
- Cash register operation and cash handling
- Ensure hygiene and cleaning practices are adhered to and keep own training current
- Adhere to Workplace Health & Safety standards
- Be proficient in the use of computers for emailing and online ordering; Microsoft Outlook and Edge
Essential: Current Working with Children Clearance Notice (Ochre Card) or the ability to obtain.
