  • Permanent Full Time
  • $98,435 pa + super (up to 12%) + leave loading
(increasing to $101,880 pa effective 1 July 2024)
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 6 of EBA5 * 9 day fortnight
  • 72.5 hour fortnight
  • Hybrid, flexible working environment, including 1-2 work from home days a week.
  • Location: Strathpine, with some periodical travel throughout our region as required to deliver for our stakeholders.
About our opportunityOur People and Culture - Capability Development team are responsible for developing and delivering HR strategies and initiatives to create our future fit workforce. This includes frameworks, strategies, and programs to build a diverse mix of capable and high-performing people ready and able deliver the best results for our customers and community at City of Moreton Bay.As our Capability Development Officer you will work collaboratively with the People and Culture team to deliver on key initiatives and build capability models, tools and resources.You will design, develop and facilitate programs across the organisation, focused on creating capability uplift at all levels across a wide variety of courses from soft skills to leadership.This is an opportunity to bring your best practice knowledge in learning and development, and work in a diverse organisation with over 80 different professions... all working towards making a positive difference for our growing community.About youWe are seeking a Learning and Development professional, experienced in designing and delivering learning initiatives within an organisation with similar complexities.You will be driven by seeing those light bulb moments and your passion and energy for making a difference will come through in how you create and facilitate.
