The Opportunity
We now have an exciting opportunity available for a Capital Delivery Project Manager to join our Networks team in Eagle Farm QLD, on a Permanent Fulltime basis.
Reporting to the Manager, Capital Delivery, this role is required to deliver assigned capital projects safely, on time, to budget and in way that complies with internal and client requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage multiple capital projects in a manner consistent with the APA Networks Project Management Framework. Projects typically range in value from $100k to $5M.
- Provide leadership and direction to the internal and external project team for the successful delivery of deliverables
- Prepare and manage project scope, project costs, schedules and approval of scope variations
- Workforce and resource planning to manage the scheduling of construction works to ensure that customer timeframes are achieved
- Ensure all reasonable efforts are being made to manage safety and safety risks on project sites
- Experience in project management methodologies and tools
- Previous contractor management experience
- Proven record of delivering results, using operational efficiency and commercial acumen to effectively implement the business strategy
- Strong commitment to Safety
- Effective leadership capability in a results driven environment
Networks manages and operates transmission pipelines and local distribution networks that deliver gas to around 1.4 million households and businesses across Australia.
This is an exciting time for the Networks team, we are growing and expanding with many new projects, including 2032 Olympics. Also, we have a strong culture of continuous improvement and working towards Net Zero with the introduction of renewable green gas into the Gas Networks.
