We currently have an outstanding entry level opportunity within our small team for a candidate who wishes to build and develop their brief experience already obtained in the feed, or similar, industry. The main objective of the role will be to develop new and existing business within the Feed Technologies division to achieve revenue and continued growth in line with the overall Andritz business strategy.
Based in Melbourne at our Carrum Downs head office, you will receive training and support to achieve the following responsibilities:
- Servicing existing accounts to meet sales targets through effective technical sales of engineering services, Capital Equipment (new and replacement) & parts in the Feed & Biofuel industry throughout Australia and NZ.
- The promotion of new technologies, and/or replacement or modernisation of machinery and parts
- Identify opportunities in the Animal Feed and Biofuel industry throughout Australia and NZ to replace non-Andritz machinery & plants.
- Assist with requests for sales opportunities through the development of proposals including bid formulation, reviews, approvals, and submission, in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Key account management of defined customers throughout Australia and New Zealand.
- Prepare reports about opportunities identified.
The ideal candidate has a Mechanical/ Industrial Engineering or animal/farming background and working knowledge of machinery and processes in a Feed and Biofuel production environment. An Engineering or Science Degree as well as previous Capital Equipment Sales experience in Feed Technologies or a comparable industry will set you apart from other applicants- however, not essential.
Whilst a background in sales is preferred, individuals who have excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrate a strong ability to influence others and are results focused will also be highly regarded.
