About the role
The primary purpose of this role is to deliver training and advice to empower Kangaroo Island farmers and land managers, to integrate low emission technologies and practices into their farming operations and land management practices and where appropriate participate in carbon markets.
This will require delivering a Carbon Farming training package that provides clear, consistent and culturally appropriate information on carbon farming and low-emissions technologies and practices that are relevant to Kangaroo Island and working with land managers to assist them with adopting low emissions strategies and practices that are appropriate for their properties and circumstances.
