The Northern and Yorke Landscape Board is very excited to offer a newly created and very important role - the Carbon Outreach Officer.
This position will engage with farmers, land managers, First Nations people, agri-business groups and other industry organisations, to raise awareness and increase knowledge of carbon farming, low-emissions technology and practices, to be future-ready for the farming of tomorrow. The role will implement and deliver a carbon farming training package, workshops, events and activities that align with the Board and State and Federal Governments' objectives in sustainable agriculture and natural resources management.
To be successful in gaining an interview, you will have high quality communication skills, great engagement skills and be able to provide up-to-date technical and environmental advice clearly and consistently to land managers, farmers, First Nations people and industry bodies. Qualifications, skills and experiences in the agriculture sector will be highly regarded.
