Position Overview:
- Seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our Care and Quality Team as a Care and Quality Support Officer.
- Report to the Care and Quality Support Manager
- Collaborate closely with our Care and Quality Team, supporting THC home's management in implementing and maintaining our continuous quality improvement program.
- Your responsibilities will include building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, visiting and supporting various THC homes
- assisting in ad-hoc tasks related to risk management, feedback, and complaint management.
Essential Requirements:
- Extensive experience in residential aged care
- Proficiency in desktop and Quality audits, including generating comprehensive reports
- Expertise in the Aged Care Quality Standards
- Be able to travel to all nursing home locations for onsite support.
- Conduct desktop and site audits to evaluate compliance with standards. Implement audit actions and recommendations.
- Attend site leadership and Quality meetings, actively contributing ideas and insights.
- Support orientation and induction programs for new staff, delivering face-to-face (F2F) and Teams-based education as required.
- Experience in Lee Care (electronic clinical management), electronic medication management systems, and Moving on Audits (MOA) is highly beneficial.
