About the Role
This is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced Care Support Worker to join our community based Health and Wellbeing Team. We are a dedicated team of nurses and carers supporting the Sisters of the Good Samaritan in independent living, community and aged care settings.
The primary role of the Care Support Worker is to provide physical, social, companioning and Care Support to the Congregation members (Sisters), as a member of the Health and Wellbeing team to support each Sister to participate in the life and mission of the Congregation.

About You
Your experience in providing care, support, and coordination in an aged care or community setting is vital to this role.
Specifically, the ideal candidate for the role will meet the following key requirements:
- 3-5 years’ experience in Community Health, Aged Care or Pastoral Care
- Certificate 3 in Aged Care or equivalent
- First Aid Certificate Level 2
- Appreciation of and commitment to supporting the life and mission, spirituality of the Sisters of the Good Samaritan
- A personal desire to support elderly people to live valued and meaningful lives
- The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- The ability to deliver care and support, in consultation with the Registered Nurse to meet each Sisters requirements
The successful candidate must also have a current driver’s licence and access to a fully insured and maintained motor vehicle suitable for transporting aged persons on occasions.
