We are seeking passionate Care Workers to join our supportive team at Bethanie Fields located in Eaton (168km south of Perth in Bunbury). Bethanie Fields is a 160 bed facility designed specifically to provide support for people who need 24 hour care, including those with special care needs and dementia.
As a Care Worker, you will work closely with our residents to improve their quality of life by assisting with day to day activities, ensuring their safety and well-being is prioritised. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, and as such you will be skilled in building positive professional relationships with both residents and team members.
This position is available as a Permanent Part Time , Permanent Full Time or Casual basis. The successful applicant must be available to work a variety of morning and afternoon with the opportunity to accept additional shifts when required.
Ability to choose shifts around your availability
- Ensure services (including food, laundry, personal care, domestic and interest) are delivered in a timely and safe manner
- All personal care tasks (including toileting & showering) are delivered with dignity and respect
- Ensure clients rooms and facility environment is maintained to an appropriate standard
- Certificate III in Aged Care, OR at least 18 months experience as a Care Worker
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work well as a team, and also independently
- Willingness to uphold the Mission, Vision and Values of The Bethanie Group Inc.
- Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
