You will be responsible for replacing old inefficient glass in homes with the latest high tech double glazed units. A keen eye for detail and precision will help ensure that our projects are completed with the highest level of quality, and you will be joining a small, young and fun team in a growing business.
Responsibilities
- Removing existing single pane glass from windows and doors
- Modifying the existing timber rebates to be compatible with new Insulted Glass Units (IGUs)
- Addressing any repairs or modifications of period double hung windows
- Work with a variety of power tools such as router, grinder, nailguns
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Providing top notch customer service as we are in peoples homes
Requirements
- Experience as a Glazier/ Carpenter with expertise in timber window modifications
- Experience with heritage / period window systems such as double hung windows
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Dexterity and physical stamina
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
