About the role
The Case Coordinator - Residential Care will work with young people across all of Junction’s Residential Care homes in Gippsland to offer support and development across the domains of system connections, community connections for young people and child protection case management support.
This role will undertake an assertive outreach approach to support young people in Residential Care by undertaking tasks which will assist them in developing and achieving their goals. It is expected the Case Coordinator for Residential Care will undertake direct client work, indirect client work and non-client work.
Selection Criteria:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Youth Work, Social Work, Community Development, Community Services and/or other related fields.
- Demonstrated ability to provide support to high-risk young people.
- Demonstrated knowledge of working with young people who have a lived experience of trauma, violence, and neglect.
- Highly developed communication, networking, and interpersonal skills, including the ability to liaise effectively with a wide range of people within the education community and youth services sector.
