The opportunity

At QBE, we are always looking for empathetic and eager to learn Insurance Claims Professionals for our claims team. Supporting people get their lives back on track after sustaining major injuries and making a positive impact in assisting people when they need it the most.

 

Your new role 

  • Experienced delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Continue to learn and grow your knowledge through an ever-changing variety of situations and challenges
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by guiding and supporting them through their recovery
  • Work in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Managed end to end claims with the help of your leaders

About you

  • Insurance claims or allied health experienced highly advantageous
  • Be customer focused and genuinely care about people
  • Be resilient and not easily overwhelmed (sometimes it can be tough assisting people through a vulnerable time in their life)
  • The confidence to make decisions and be empowered
  • Be able to actively listen to people and guide people through the claims process in a natural and emphatic manner on the phone
  • Strong computer skills and the ability to pick up new computer systems
