The Australian Refugee Association Inc. (ARA) is a community-based organisation providing settlement, migration, and other forms of assistance to refugees, migrants and other people of concern.
As a member of our team, you will be supporting new arrivals in South Australia to achieve their social, economic, cultural and community participation goals. You will be making a difference in the lives of individuals and families as they re-establish themselves in a new home.
The Case Manager is responsible for providing holistic family care, promoting family-led decision-making, and setting goals in a child-centred approach whilst addressing the family's needs as a whole from the lens of strengths-based and trauma-informed response. The service includes individual and family case management, parenting session, advocacy and cultural consultancy.

Experience and knowledge in Family Safety (working with domestic and family violence), parenting, child health and wellbeing are requirements of the position, along with experience in the provision of case management and working with people from a CALD background.
A relevant tertiary degree in Social Work and/or Counselling is a prerequisite, unless the equivalent knowledge has been attained through lesser qualifications and/or significant experience gained from previous appointments.
The successful candidate must have evidence of Australian residency or a current working visa.
