We act for humanity.About the roleThe Case Worker provides assistance to migrants in transition, offering individualised support to clients to identify strengths and needs to set and attain identified goals. You will work collaboratively with other agencies and organisations to source appropriate support for clients and contribute to co-design process and adapt and innovate ways of working in order to improve Red Cross’s response to the needs of migrants in transition.What you will bringWell-developed interpersonal and written communication skillsProven ability to provide high quality, specialist casework support and case managementDemonstrated understanding of how to holistically assess complex client needs, including conducting risk assessments, and developing effective case plans and safety planningDemonstrated cultural competence and the ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds who have experienced grief, loss, torture, and trauma and who experience ongoing safety risksProven capacity to be adaptive and resilient and to work independently in a self-directed manner, and also as a member of a teamWorking with Children Check and drivers licence Benefits that act for you, while you act for humanityFinancial wellbeing: In addition to your salary, you can take advantage of salary packaging that could provide you with a great way to reduce the amount of tax you pay - and get more from your salary.
