Beaconhills are seeking casual staff to join our team of Residential Supervisor Assistants at our Boarding House for international students.
In this role you will be supporting students from a variety of backgrounds with daily living and wellbeing care. You will require strong interpersonal skills, initiative and well developed organisation skills. Empathy with students in residence and the ability to relate well to adolescents is critical.
Your position as an Assistant focuses on being a support to the students, providing supervision as well as preparing meals.
Our spacious and modern residence for international boarding students is located right next to our Pakenham Campus in a safe and peaceful location.
The residence is staffed 24 hours by qualified and experienced supervisors and mentors. Rooms have individual study areas for each student. All meals are provided and there is a range of activities each weekend.
We have multiple casual positions available, commencing as soon as possible. The usual hours of employment will involve morning and afternoon shifts as well as the requirement to stay overnight (in private accommodation) and be available to respond to any incidents or issues that arise through the night.
We work on a flexible roster and are willing to negotiate shift times and allocations with the successful candidate(s).
Pay Rates
The casual hourly rates commence at $44.64 per hour. Generous penalty rates apply to weekends & evening shifts and overnight stays attract an additional on call allowance.
