What we are looking for:
We are seeking a hands-on, experienced, lead from the front Duty Manager to join the team at the iconic Shaws Bay Hotel.
This is a role for someone who thrives in a busy environment, wants to develop their team, and shares our vision for the venue's future.
Your Day to Day:
You will be responsible for operating the venue whilst on shift, as well as assisting the GM and Head Office team in making the venue a better place to work, visit and play.
Our ideal candidate will be efficient and effective at leading and co-ordinating all patrons and staff members within the venue and ensuring our guest experience is second to none.
We expect you to be confident in both FOH and BOH management and procedures as well as having the ability to ensure compliance remains a priority at all times.
A background in a busy Pub environment, and the ability to keep calm and carry on under pressure are essential.
To be truly successful, we ask that you have
- 3+yrs Hospitality Management experience in similar Hotels.
- The ability to lead, train and develop a team.
- High level knowledge of Gaming, Food and Beverage
- An absolute passion for good hospitality and service.
- Experience in an entertainment venue
- Current RSA & RCG, TAB & Keno accreditation
