Casual Florist/Customer Service (Experience Level Flexible) Wanted For Fun Team!

Flowers Across Melbourne delivers fresh flowers throughout Melbourne from our workspace located in Preston. We have a focus on creating a great customer experience through exceptional service, beautiful flowers, and high-tech delivery. We are an online-based florist.

We are currently looking for a casual florist/cx support (an all-rounder type) who consider themself highly motivated, love a challenge, are a fast learner and thrive in a fast paced environment to join our friendly Melbourne team. Ideally, you will have prior floristry experience/certification, but we flexible for the right candidate.

Who are we looking for?

• A person who loves a variety of roles throughout the day - you will be handling floristry tasks, customer service and general duties as needed
• Someone who is self-managed but equally able to work both as part of a team or by themselves
• A pro-active self-starter
• A fantastic communicator, who has experience working with online/phone/email CX
• A team player who thrives on the challenge of working in a fast-paced environment and meeting deadlines
• Someone with prior experience in floristry would be fantastic (Cert III & Retail Floristry) highly regarded, however we encourage creative personalities to reach out

Main duties will be dependant on experience and will include all aspects of Customer Experience and Retail Floristry including:

• Engaging customers via phone, email and chat in Customer Experience tasks
• Learning and engaging in logistics skills - booking, organising and assisting couriers in warehouse
• Floristry and completing flower orders as they come in from the website
• Unpacking of flower stock and sundries when it arrives
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of work areas
• Other duties as directed

Hours:

Must have availability Friday & Saturday to apply. Around 15hours/week (flexible)

We have flexible hours across the week outside of this, however will favour availability on Monday, Tuesday, Friday & Saturday.
In general, we are open from 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm Saturday & Sunday.

Pay rates are above award rate and are commensurate with experience.
