We’re an easy drive from Cairns and surrounding suburbs against the flow of traffic. We have a hardworking team of 5 GPs, nurses and excellent administration support. We can offer the applicant a casual role with an experienced team that are dedicated to supporting the health needs of our community.
About the RoleWe're seeking a casual enrolled or registered nurse.
Duties include but not limited to:
Health assessments
Care plan preparation
Immunisations
Assisting in minor procedures
Wound dressings
Spirometry
Maintenance of clinical documentation
Patient Counselling/education
Diabetic health checks
About YouCurrent registration with AHPRA as an enrolled/registered nurse
Applicants are to be consistently warm, caring and empathetic with patients, fellow nurses and administration
We desire an individual who can work independently and as a team member
Consistent demonstration of a professional attitude
Prior experience working in a General Practice is desirable
Experience with care plans and health assessments
Vaccination certification
