Form of workAs a result of increased GP recruitment, an expansion of our medical centre and a significant increase in our patient activity we are seeking a part-time Practice Nurse (RN) to join our team. You will be working with experienced Practice Nurses, and supported by a Practice Manager, medical receptionists and GP's. This role provides a unique opportunity to tailor your career to suit your needs and genuinely make a difference. The practice is accredited to support Registrar and Medical Student placements, so you will also need to have a genuine passion for developing the next generation of GP's.
The practice is open Monday to Friday (8am to 6pm) and Saturday mornings. You will need to be flexible with your availability, albeit that rosters are developed in consultation with all nurses. Shifts are presently 8.00am-5.00pm.
The current position is for at least 2 days per week (immediate start) and additional days may be available to cover annual or personal leave absences of other RN's on the team.

You should have General Practice experience - or be genuinely seeking to develop a career in this space, where shift work is not required and you actually build relationships with patients every day.
Immunisation certification will be an advantage, as would knowledge of Best Practice software.
