About the role
City Heart is currently looking for a casual EEN or RN to work with our dedicated team of nurses, staff, and doctors providing the highest quality care, for approximately 25-32 hours per week.
About you
All we’re asking is:
- You’re passionate about patient care
- Ideally have GP nursing experience
- You have experience working with CDM including care plans and health assessments
- AHPRA registered
- Current CPR certificate
Your responsibilities
Duties will include all aspects of General Practice nursing:
- Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Immunisations: including childhood, employment, travel, and COVID-19 vaccinations
- Wound care
- Patient triage
- Sterilisation and infection control implementation
- Diagnostics required for Employment and Aviation medicals
- General Treatment room duties
- Cold Chain management
- Work both autonomously and collaboratively
We’re open to considering applications from New Graduates for this position. Remuneration will be based on experience. Previous experience with Chronic Disease Management - Care Plans and Health Assessments would be desirable; as well as previous experience working within a GP clinic.
