General maintenance of the hotel property, including but not limited to, repairs throughout the inside of the hotel (guestrooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobby, etc) and outside. Keeping hotel appearance and equipment operating according to the hotel standards.
What You Will Do
- Responsible for general preventative maintenance
- Maintaining plant rooms, basement, rooftop, entryways, decks, parking lot
- Work with outside vendors for needed services
- Fix minor plumbing problems such as unclogging drains, plunging toilets, and repairing leaky spigots and faucets
- Perform miscellaneous minor repairs such as tightening loose toilet seats, changing light bulbs, and patching holes in walls
- Able to react quickly when situations come up
- Workspace cleaned after each shift
- Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures
- Report maintenance problems, safety hazards
Qualifications
- Minimum one-year general building maintenance experience is required, with hotel experience preferred
- Good customer skills are also required
