Silkari The Pavilions is looking for a Hotel Receptionist to work on a casual basis (approx. 3 days per week)
Job Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Check-in and check-out guests,
- Answer incoming calls and attend to guest queries,
- Enter data into the system and balance at the end of each shift,
- Issue room keys to guests and ensure procedures are followed regarding guest confidentiality,
- Provide friendly, personalised customer service at all times,
- Recommend restaurants and places of interest according to the guests needs,
- Ensure the smooth running of the reception desk,
- Other varied hotel administration tasks
Skills and Experience:
To succeed in this role you will need to be customer focused. As an integral part of delivering exceptional customer service, you will possess:
- High attention to detail, self-motivated and able to work in a team environment, as well as independently,
- Strong customer focus, a friendly and polite personality,
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week,
- A strong work ethic, energetic, a quick learner and, excellent personal presentation,
- Be an excellent communicator,
- Hotel Reception experience is an advantage but not a prerequisite. Training will be provided.
Employment Conditions:
Must have working rights in Australia.
