Casual Junior Retail Food Assistant

We are a small family run business based in Kings Meadows and are currently seeking to employ a Junior Retail Team Member on a casual basis, hours per week will depend on availability. We think this position would be best suited to someone still in high school, college or someone who has just begun university. The ideal candidate will be between 15 and 20 years of age.

As a small family run business, we need to find the right employee to fit in with our family culture. We don’t need applicants to have relevant work experience, but we do expect you to be eager to learn and hard working. Initially you won’t be expected to perform retail work, we will train you in other aspects of the business, particularly cleaning, until you have enough general experience to begin the retail duties. 

The work hours will be weekday shifts after school, approx. finish time of 7pm. Saturdays and school holiday work will also be required. You must also be able to work over the busier periods such as Christmas, New Year and Easter (closed public holidays).
