About the opportunity
Our Medical Receptionists are a crucial first point of contact for Luma. We are seeking a casual Medical Receptionist to join our team and help cover sick leave as required as well as planned holidays (especially 24/06/2024-05/07/2024).
You will be responsible for providing high quality reception tasks and a variety of administrative duties to our team of doctors, nurses, counsellors, case workers, and advocates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Answering the telephone in a courteous and professional manner.
- Welcoming and greeting all clients and visitors to Luma.
- Registering new clients and updating existing client records by collecting relevant client information.
- Facilitating client flow by notifying the relevant employee of client arrival, being aware of delays, and communicating with clients and employees.
- Responding to inquiries by clients, prospective clients, and visitors in a courteous manner.
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist will be highly regarded. In this role you will need the ability to multi-task, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and a willingness to cover holidays and sick leave as required.
This is a casual position based out of our Northbridge office, travel to our Joondalup office may be required on occasion.
