Grafton Base Hospital are seeking casual Registered Midwifes to coordinate and deliver high quality women and newborn centred midwifery care in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia's Standards of Practice for Midwives, and the Policies and Procedures of the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Northern NSW Local Health District (NNSWLHD).
If you have:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia as a Registered Midwife or Registered Nurse (Division 1)
- Uses all available information to develop, monitor and evaluate a plan of care in consultation with women, newborns, families and other members of the multidisciplinary health care team to support best women and newborn outcomes
- Knowledge and understanding of women and newborn centred care, evidence-based practice and quality improvement
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to practice in accordance with legislation, policies and within the scope of practice of a Registered Midwife
- Availability and capacity to participate in a 24 hour/seven day rotating roster which includes working all shifts, all days of the week including public holidays
