AddressWe have a wonderful opportunity for a Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our busy team at Rose Street Clinic. The position is currently Casual, with the possibility in the future of increasing to permanent part-time.
The successful applicant will be required to work approximately 20-25 hours per week but will also be required to cover sick and annual leave when required.
You will need to be able to multitask a range of clinical duties, effectively communicate and be a team player in our close knit work environment.
It is preferable if you have general practice experience. Orientation and training will be provided to the successful candidate.
Clinical requirements for this role, include but not limited to:
- Immunisations including COVID vaccinations
- Wound Care Management
- Assisting doctors with minor surgical procedures
- Stock and cold chain management
- Preparations of chronic disease plans and health assessments
- Maintaining patient records
- ECG's
- Dopplers and Spirometry
- Managing the recall and reminder process via Hotdoc
- Assisting Accreditation process
Essential requirements for this role:
To apply for this position, you will need to have completed a Bachelor of Nursing and hold a current registration with AHPRA. A current Working with Children's Clearance, current drivers license and Covid-19 vaccination training is also required.
