Right now we are on the hunt for an HR Manager. As the full-time face of HR to take ownership of HR administration and processes across our business. Reporting to a part time Head of HR, this role sits at our HQin beautiful McMahons Point (North Sydney) and plays an essential part in ensuring our HR Operations run smoothly. The team is also rolling out a new HRIS this year. This is a wonderful opportunity for learning and development for the right candidate.

To succeed in this role you will support our team to do their best work. You will have 5 years of experience in HR and/ or HR qualifications and HR administrative experience. You should have a sound knowledge of HR legal requirements and ideally experience with an HRIS.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare contracts, contract extensions and any employment letters.
- Maintaining employee records and preparing reporting on HR
- Administration of all HR records in the new HRIS. You will also play a key role in the implementation and adoption of the new HRIS
- Overseeing the onboarding of new staff and assisting in the development of onboarding procedures
- Overseeing the offboarding of any staff
- Work with the Head of HR, Legal and Risk management teams to develop training and development programs
- Providing advice and assistance on HR policies, projects and procedures
- Nurture a positive working environment by ensuring employee relations are conducted with dignity and respect and providing the balance between the moral compass and the business needs and objectives
- Work with Legal and Risk teams to ensure compliance with all employment legislation, policies and procedures
- Bridge management and employee relations by supporting managers in resolving issues covering all aspects of employee relations
- Dealing with workplace relations issues such as complaints, conflicts, grievances and misconduct with support of the Head of HR
- Reviewing employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance
Requirements:
- Qualifications in Human Resources, ideally a Bachelor's degree
- 5+ years experience working in HR
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to engage team members
- High level of attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Strong relationship building skills
- Practical problem solver
- Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
- Ability to work independently, exercising sound judgement and initiative
- Desire to learn and grow
