About the role

Our paralegal team assist our solicitors. Your responsibilities will include:

    • Attending court and copying appointments
    • Preparing correspondence
    • Drafting legal documents
    • Conducting legal research
    • Briefing doctors and counsel

Please note that this is a casual position, and accordingly, a periodic pay rate will apply.

About you

You are a current law student, preferably in the middle years of your degree. You are able to work two consecutive days most weeks from 8.45am - 5.15pm.  You have a desire to develop your skills and to work with a variety of lawyers in various areas of law including defendant insurance practices -  compulsory third party, workers' compensation and public liability.  You have fantastic attention to detail, enjoy working within a team and are very willing to learn. Previous experience in a legal or professional services firm will be highly regarded.
