About the Role:
We are looking for a Paralegal to join our Canberra office. This is an entry level role although experience in a law firm, administration or client service will be highly regarded.
You will have excellent mentoring from highly experienced team members who will assist you with your career development. We aim to provide a balance of supervision and autonomy to allow you to develop as quickly as possible.
Training in these areas will be provided. Initially, you will be:
- Undertaking client and file administration
- Drafting some correspondence and legal documents
- Conducting research
- Liaising with potential new clients and existing clients
- Assisting with litigated matters
- Attending client appointments with your supervising solicitor
- Assisting with drafting marketing articles
- Working closely with Senior Lawyers and Directors
