Job description
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Production Operator to join our team at the Tarong Fly Ash Plant. As a Production Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery and equipment, ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the production processes.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment in line with company standards and specific job procedures
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and inspections on machinery and equipment
- Troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment
- Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Collaborate with team members to identify and implement process improvements
- Communicate effectively with team members and management, both verbally and in written reports
- Follow all environmental compliance guidelines and procedures
Requirements:
- Technical skills and knowledge of production operations
- Valid Construction Whitecard
- Current Drivers License
- Familiarity with standard operating procedures and quality control procedures
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and guidelines
- Responsible and efficient work ethic
- Previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred
- Willingness to be on call and work flexible shifts that being weekends and holidays if required.
