We are looking for a Operations/Production Coordinatorto help drive one of the most critical arms of the business. Reporting to the Director, you will be a key support to the operations team, responsible for the production and logistics process with general admin and day-to-day coordination with suppliers across all categories. You will support the process of product being developed, forecasted, ordered and delivered on time. This also involves engaging with our International customers and suppliers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support to the Director including processing of paperwork and keeping files in order
- Raising and issuing purchasing orders to suppliers and manufacturers
- Assist and manage freight booking shipments with offshore suppliers
- Assist and process paperwork for shipments in a timely manner
- Liaise with the Warehouse Team and Marketing Team regarding product deliveries
- Maintaining up-to-date data in the WMS
- Assisting with stock level & conduct expiration audits
- Review all forecasts monthly with Director and update relevant stakeholders of any changes.
- Liaising with Director, CEO, E-comm Co-ordinator for forecast updates/changes
- Monthly sales & Inventory reporting
- Involvement with new product development and production
- Opportunity for the right candidate to move into a management position within a short period of time
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in production/logistics admin role
- Excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills - both verbal and written skills
- Good ability to build rapport and maintain productive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Good problem-solving skills – ability to think on feet and open minded to new or different approaches to doing things
- Excellent organisation, administration and time management skills
- High attention to detail with high level of accuracy
- Good IT literacy, spreadsheets and database applications
