We provide exceptional event first aid and medical services throughout Australia. Our Victorian office is seeking new staff to work throughout Melbourne & Victoria. We cover events from low risk local football events through to music festivals (the ones with words), and major community events.
Job Description:
We are seeking enthusiastic, experienced, and dedicated Registered Paramedics and Graduate Paramedics to join our team and contribute to our mission - keeping our events, uneventful! If you have a background in paramedicine and are passionate about providing high-quality care in a pre-hospital event setting, we encourage you to apply.
Health Care Professionals are lead by our intensive care (MICA) paramedic Clinical Manager providing clinical excellence at the event we attend.
Selection Criteria:
To be considered for this role, you should meet the following criteria:
Registered Paramedics:
- Current or previous experience with a jurisdictional ambulance service (e.g., Ambulance Victoria).
- AHPRA registration as a Paramedic.
Graduate Paramedics:
- Completed university studies in paramedicine and registered with AHPRA.
- Please note you will be credentialed at First Responder 3 level for autonomous practice and at Paramedic level under supervised practice at certain events.
General Requirements:
- Experience in treating patients in a pre-hospital environment.
- Availability for a variety of shifts, primarily on weekends.
- Access to a car for travel to event locations.
- Current police check and Working with Children's Check (or willingness to obtain one).
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- A can-do attitude, ready to contribute to our team's success.
Position Type:
Casual (Please note that there is no guarantee of hours, but work is rostered based on your availability, generally a month in advance, through our online rostering system).
