About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Speech Pathologists to join the Casual Speech Pathology Bank at Grampians Health.
Applications will be considered from Grade 1, 2 and 3 Speech Pathologists with experience working in acute and subacute adult inpatient settings and/or in care communities
We will be looking for dynamic Speech Pathologists who:
- Have experience in assessment and management of acute and subacute adult inpatients
- Have experience working with people living in care communities
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment;
- Can commit to regular shifts &/or blocks of time to cover leave;
- Can commit to paid, on-site orientation and training
Providing weekend, public holiday and / or weekday services you will be working within a large team of Speech Pathologists and have the opportunity to be supported with structured supervisory support. Your role will entail working with a broad range of adults presenting with voice, swallowing and airways conditions, communication difficulties and cognitive-communication impairments. Depending on your availability and identified needs, training and competency programs are available to support you developing skills in specialist areas such as instrumental swallowing assessments such as VFSS and FEES, laryngectomy care and tracheostomy management.
