ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Casual Teacher- Real Estate Practice, you will provide professional teaching and vocational expertise, across all aspects of delivery, planning and performance.
You will be a key and active participant of the Business Management Department and will work to promote educational excellence, business growth and student-centred services for the Business & Information Technology team.
Your key accountabilities will be to:

• Design and develop high quality teaching and learning resources including tailored materials in a range of formats to suit varying learning styles
• Develop and deliver planned teaching sessions in a variety of innovative and adaptive ways, using technology, including Moodle
• Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, including encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning
• Proactively support the effective use of Institute learning resources and meet student needs by increasing the use of blended learning options, workplace or offsite delivery and mobile technologies
• Work collaboratively with industry to align current and emerging industry needs and facilitate relevant and responsive delivery models that engage learners
• Undertake a range of administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught

ABOUT YOU
You are a highly motivated individual with well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including the ability to research, select and use a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools, in addition to a strong understanding of contemporary approaches to education, teaching and learning.
You will have the following tertiary qualifications-

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or qualifications that meet the AQSA standards
• Vocational qualification at AQF4 or higher
• Vocational currency as demonstrated through a range of work and related experience
• Registration with relevant industry body/s as required for the teaching discipline
• A relevant or equivalent industry VET Qualification (for e.g.- Certificate or Cert IV or Higher in Property Services, Real Estate training or equivalent.
• A record of Vocational Competency, mapped to Units of Competency engaged to deliver
• A record of Professional Currency, demonstrating current industry and teaching knowledge.
