Your opportunity

The Category Manager will join our Category Management team to design and manage the category, product, and innovation lifecycle of key cabinet hardware sub-categories through our local and international supply partners. It may also involve Line Management of Category Assistant resources.

The ability to develop and execute category and ranging strategies aligned to changing customer needs, market landscape and Lincoln Sentry’s business strategy is core to the role. This role will translate data from multiple sources to provide market insights, interpret customer behaviour, leverage local and overseas supply partners, and provide ranging recommendations for core categories. Our Category Managers have significant autonomy to manage the full product lifecycle from ideation, competitive sourcing, supply chain, range & margin mix, refining product segments & product offer, brand custodianship (including private label portfolio development), product training & knowledge, and point of purchase material.

What you’ll bring

• Proven track record to manage or develop product / category ranges, ideally in trade or commercial markets
• Ability to think strategically and develop winning range and category plans that deliver sustainable and long-term category growth
• Experience in sourcing and / or product development
• Supplier negotiation and management including rebate agreements
• Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills - intermediate (or higher) understanding / skill in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other MS Office applications
• Bachelor’s degree desirable, ideally in Business Management or related field
