Catering Coordinator

Al Aseel is 22 years young, developed upon our love for food, service, family, sharing and fun.  

The Al Aseel group continues to evolve and grow, with six Al Aseel restaurants in NSW. In conjunction with this, a production kitchen in Greenacre with an incredible catering offering for corporate and private events - servicing clients in the retail, airline and government industries.  

The Role:

Reporting to the Catering & Events Manager, you will be responsible but not limited to the following:

• Assisting with the day to day running of the Catering department
• Preparing accurate catering quotations, including pickup, delivery & staffed events
• Converting catering quotes into confirmed orders, finalising details, payment, and post event follow-up
• Event coordination, logistics and liaison with operations department
• Identifying up-sell opportunities where possible
• Develop and maintain strong and profitable relationships with new and returning clients

To be successful in the role you will need:

• Solid administration and computer skills, including Microsoft office applications
• Minimum 2 years experience in a catering environment 
• Work availability must be Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm, and occasionally at staffed events as required
• Articulate with highly developed communication skills and immaculate presentation
• Have the ability to react quickly to changing conditions whilst delivering quality outputs in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and strong customer service
• Event/catering/hospitality operational experience will be highly regarded
• Full driver’s license preferred
• Full working rights in Australia
