AddressBookplate, located inside the National Library of Australia, is searching for casual chefs to join our kitchen team.
The number of hours available are flexible - from 15-20 hours per week, more or less depending on your availability and how busy the cafe is.

What our ideal new team member will offer:

• Confidently worked independently in the past
• A minimum 2 years’ experience cooking in a commercial kitchen environment
• Experience and understanding of regulating temperatures of ovens, grills and other cooking equipment as required
• A high level of verbal communication skills
• An appreciation of quality food and food service
• Fully qualified chef

What the job entails:
• Preparing, seasoning, cooking and plating dishes to our recipes in a timely manner for cafe service
• Maintaining a workstation that is clean & hygienic whilst adhering to all relevant food and safety guidelines
• General kitchen cleaning duties where required
