Looking for an energetic, enthusiastic and passionate Centre Director to work with a brilliant and supportive team, in a 100 place long day care in the heart of Keysborough.
Benefits include:
- Generous salary with above award wages + staff bonuses
- Enjoy support from the head office with this large national company
- Ample opportunities for personal growth & career development in a growing company
- Great location, opposite Haileybury and next to shops
- Friendly and supportive culture
- Flexibility with rostered time off and true work-life balance
- Our service incorporates space to be creative and inspire others
- Commitment to training, professional development and career pathway progression
- Discount offered for team members who have children in care at the service
The service is centrally located and close to public transport. With just 100 children at full capacity, this is a job that is manageable and comes with less stress than some of the bigger centres in the area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Centre Manager to make this your own.
We are looking for a strong leader, with experience in a similar setting. You must demonstrate a proven ability to use your communication skills to persuade, engage, inspire, and motivate a team of passionate Educators to deliver optimal learning outcomes for the families being served.
As Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations, including but not limited to:
- Guiding and mentoring a team of 20-25 staff
- Supporting and upholding the Centre policies, procedures, philosophy and regulations
- Attend to administration tasks as needed
- Develop collaborative partnerships with families and the community
- Ensure the highest quality of education and care is transferred throughout.
About you
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
- Minimum of 2-year continuous experience in a CM or 2IC role in a long daycare setting
- Strong knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
- Inherently responsible and dedicated to providing a safe and positive environment for children and staff
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with families and the wider community
- Strong organisational and time management skills
If this sounds like your next career move, or if you are exploring your career and do not know if this is right for you, then apply, and we can discuss it further.
